By relaxing the downward-pulling muscles in the lower face (platysma + DAO), the lifting muscles in the mid-face can dominate (zygomaticus or cheek muscle) giving you a subtle lift ✨ This can soften jowls, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and that downturned or “resting sad face” expression.
