Facial muscles work in balance- some pull down (depressors) ⬇️, others lift up (elevators) ⬆️. By relaxing the downward-pulling muscles in the lower face (platysma + DAO), the lifting muscles in the mid-face can dominate (zygomaticus or cheek muscle) giving you a subtle lift ✨ This can soften jowls, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and that downturned or “resting sad face” expression. You might also notice a more defined jawline, a subtle neck lift, and cheeks that look a little more lifted and full. Results typically last 3–4 months.
