✨ 1–1 Lip & Cheek Enhancement Training Day ✨ I had the pleasure of delivering a bespoke 1–1 lip & cheek enhancement training course with the lovely Faith, a registered nurse from Leeds. We began with theory to cover anatomy, facial assessment and treatment planning, before moving on to the practical element, achieving some beautiful, natural results on our models. Faith is a truly talented injector: gentle, precise and with an excellent aesthetic eye. It was a very successful day, and I can’t wait to continue mentoring her. Mild jowls aren’t always about skin… muscle activity often plays an important role. Overactivity in muscles such as the DAO, mentalis and platysma can create downward pull and shorten the lower face, contributing to early jowling ⬇️ An overactive chin muscle can shorten the lower face and make it appear rounder. Botox relaxes this tension, lowering the chin creating a more tapered jawline.✨ Treating the DAOs and upper platysma alongside this reduces the downward pull on the jowls, improving jawline contour. This combination is best for early jowling caused by muscle activity, not significant skin laxity. How To Avoid A Jaw Bulge After Masseter Botox 💉✨ Masseter Botox is often used to ease jaw clenching and teeth grinding, as well as slim the lower face.
